Account data: name, email address, and country provided at sign up.
Verification data: government issued identity documents and facial recognition data submitted during KYC. This data is encrypted in transit and at rest.
Content data: articles, photos, and videos you publish, along with auto detected location at the time of reporting.
Usage data: device, browser, and analytics information collected through cookies.
2. How we use your data
To verify your identity and issue journalist credentials.
To publish and attribute your reporting under the FBNN™ News Desk.
To calculate revenue earnings and operate the platform.
To detect abuse and enforce the three strikes policy.
3. Encryption and storage
Identity and biometric data are encrypted and stored securely. Access is strictly limited to verification and compliance processes.
